What types of homes are available?
We offer a variety of park homes, including pre-built stock homes and opportunities to design your own bespoke home. Each home is modern, energy-efficient, and designed for comfortable living.
Do I have to move out for a month or two each year?
No. Unlike parks with a ‘Holiday Park’site licence, all our parks are Fully Residential, so you can live there permanently, all year round and we are a member of the BH&HPA. When you choose to live at Blunsdon Abbey Park you are issued with the legis lated agreement under the Mobile Home Act.
Are homes fully furnished?
Homes come fully furnished with high-quality pieces to suit various tastes. Some manufacturers also offer the option to choose your furniture style, décor and layout.
How do I choose a plot?
Visit the park and explore available plots. Consider factors like sunlight, proximity to neighbours, and whether you prefer a secluded or central location. Our team will help guide you to the perfect plot for your needs.

Why do I need to pay a Pitch Fee?
The Pitch Fee gives you the right to site the home on the park’s land and subsidises maintenance of all the communal facilities and areas within each park. What about Council Tax?
Our residential park homes are currently Band A, so you pay the lowest level of Council Tax. This is payable to the local council.
Will the home have to be removed after 10 years?
Absolutely not. Our parks are Fully Residential so when you purchase your home you will receive a legislated agreement called the Written Statement under the Mobile Home Act 1983, which constitutes your security of tenure.
Can my grandchildren come and stay?
Of course. It’s your home, so your grandchildren are more than welcome to visit and stay over.
Sales and moving in
Can I trade in my current home as part payment
Yes, our part exchange scheme offers a seamless and stress-free way to move into a new park home. Instead of dealing with the delays and uncertainties of selling on the open market, you can trade in your existing property as part payment. This allows for a quicker, hassle-free transition, so you can move into your new home with confidence and peace of mind.
How long does it take to move in?
For stock homes, you can move in as soon as the purchase is complete. If you’re designing a bespoke home, timelines will depend on the manufacturer’s schedule. We may be able to expedite the process and offer temporary accommodation on-site while you wait.
Can I sell my park home in the future?
Yes, you can sell your park home if needed. Our team can assist you with the process or provide advice on working with an estate agent experienced in park home sales.
